Do you find yourself wondering how you can get more involved in the local political process? The Broward Young Black Progressives are hosting a “Rally On Tally” two-day event, starting on Wednesday, April 12. The main goal of these two days of civic engagement is to get millennials more involved with their local legislation while letting their local legislators know how they feel about some of the recent controversial decisions made by the state’s government. Those attending will be addressed by guest speakers including local officials and community leaders. The event will be held in front of the State Capitol, and some issues that will be focused on are: education reform, the criminal justice system, and environmental protection.
