The Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend is hosting the Annual Race for Readiness from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Oct. 1 at the Southwood Town Center. Come out and run or walk a one mile fun run or a certified 5k course. The event will be holding giveaways, race shirts, and awards for all age groups. Local celebrities guests will be in attendance. Prices for races begin at $15 for the fun run and $20 for the 5k. Proceeds benefit The Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend Region and and the My First Books program.
