Students at Tallahassee Community College are getting back to work with Florida’s new workforce education initiative. Due to COVID-19, it has been hard for some students to rebound and get back on their feet financially.

Four TCC students, training at a local firefighting program, said that they are thankful for the opportunity to restart after the difficulties of the pandemic. The college received $374,000 to revise the program and provide scholarships. These students want to help people in need and are grateful for the opportunity.
